Our Area

Crooked Tree is located between Penticton and Naramata Village. Penticton, a 10 minute drive from us, is a place like no other to visit.  Virtually any interest is pursued here - some even year round!  The list does not stop at wine tasting (there are over 100 wineries in our area) for which our area is internationally well known; add dining, shopping, the visual arts, theatre, nature walks, hikes, mountain bike riding, all water sports, rock climbing, beaches, heritage attractions, horseback riding, festivals, parades, music, channel cruising, farmer’s market, fruit stands and more. . . you name it and we’ve probably got it . . . all in a spectacular setting.

Penticton is an idyllic place with natural beauty bordered by lakes to the north and south and by mountains to the east and west.  The climate is one of the most attractive in Canada with short and mild winters, early spring seasons, comfortable humidity and typically hot summers providing comfort for virtually anyone at any time of the year.  Penticton’s relatively small size (population approx 35,000) makes getting around simple, finding things a breeze and making new friends easy.  Visit www.tourismpenticton.com for all you’ll need to know.

Naramata is a delightful village about a fifteen minute drive from Crooked Tree and only slightly longer from Penticton.  The route there is truly wondrous, providing expansive views of vineyards, orchards and Okanagan Lake.  Known as The Naramata Bench, this area has the highest concentration of wineries in the Okanagan and they are all “just down the hill” from Crooked Tree.  Check out www.bcwineinfo.net for winery information and http://www.discovernaramata.com/ for general Naramata information.
